The Community Health Endowment of Lincoln (CHE) works to make Lincoln the healthiest community in the nation. To achieve this vision, CHE invests in health-related projects and programs and convenes the community around important health issues. Since its creation as a municipal endowment in 1998, CHE has returned more than $30 million to the community.
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. We believe that positive, lasting, personal, and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That's why we focus our work in three areas, Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. Our cause defines us. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
